Last night when I was reading el Guapito, "A Bit More Bert" and there was a bit about the titular character sharing his 'crisps' with his family. Had to explain that a 'crisp' was what they called 'chips' in England. Then there was something about digestive biscuits at the end. I promised him that the next time I went to the store, I'd get him crisps and digestives so he could try them out. I figured he'd like the biscuits (chocolate covered oat cookies--what's not to love?) but didn't expect him to like the Salt & Vinegar Pringle's I got. He ate about half a dozen of them before I finally put them away.
This bodes well. I figure I've got him on the track to be able to read him the Hobbit in a few years, and start on Monty Python a few years later.
